{"id":992,"date":"2022-01-23T16:16:24","date_gmt":"2022-01-23T05:46:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hydeparkcroquetclub.com.au\/?page_id=992"},"modified":"2025-07-14T09:19:48","modified_gmt":"2025-07-13T23:49:48","slug":"new-players","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hydeparkcroquetclub.com.au\/index.php\/new-players\/","title":{"rendered":"New and visiting players"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Hyde Park Croquet Club is always pleased to show members of the public how to play both association croquet, golf croquet and gateball. &nbsp;We will lend you a suitable mallet and provide you with expert coaching.&nbsp;  We also welcome all South Australia, Australian and International croquet and gateball club members to visit and play at our club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For new players your first session is free and if you would like to continue with following sessions our club charges $5 per person per session for one month while you decide if croquet or gateball is the game for you and if you wish to join our club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Croquet and gateball members from all other clubs are charged $5 per person per session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our club plays social croquet on numerous days during the week and all members have the option of joining a team to play competitively against other Adelaide croquet clubs. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have 75 plus members, made up of 1\/3 female members and 2\/3 male members at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the playing session you can enjoy a cup of tea\/coffee at morning tea, or something from our fully licensed bar at other times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please call our Club Captain before coming out to play, <a href=\"https:\/\/hydeparkcroquetclub.com.au\/index.php\/contact-us\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/hydeparkcroquetclub.com.au\/index.php\/contact-us\/\">please click here for current contact details<\/a>.
