The Hyde Park Croquet Club is always pleased to show members of the public how to play both association croquet, golf croquet and gateball. We will lend you a suitable mallet and provide you with expert coaching. We also welcome all South Australia, Australian and International croquet and gateball club members to visit and play at our club.
For new players your first session is free and if you would like to continue with following sessions our club charges $5 per person per session for one month while you decide if croquet or gateball is the game for you and if you wish to join our club.
Croquet and gateball members from all other clubs are charged $5 per person per session.
Our club plays social croquet on numerous days during the week and all members have the option of joining a team to play competitively against other Adelaide croquet clubs.
We have 75 plus members, made up of 1/3 female members and 2/3 male members at the moment.
After the playing session you can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee at morning tea, or something from our fully licensed bar at other times, COVID restrictions may apply during 2022/2023.
